Queenslanders, it’s been an incredible year for recycling with Containers for Change!
As 2025 wraps up, we wanted to share some fun highlights from across the state and celebrate the impact we’re all making together.
Here’s a snapshot of what Queensland achieved together in 2025
1.73 billion containers returned
$173 million refunded to Queenslanders
$3.8 million donated to charities and community groups
Aluminium was the most returned material, making up over HALF of containers returned!
Depots were the favourite return points, with 1.58 billion Bincoin traded.
Saturday was the most popular day of the week for returns!
It’s amazing to see how much we can achieve when we all do a little bit each day.
