THE TYPES OF REFUND POINTS
There are four types of refund points in WA where you can return eligible containers. The best one for you could depend on how many containers you’re returning and how you would like to receive your refund.
Bag drops
Simply ‘bag it, tag it and drop it’. Bag drops are available at various locations as a convenient and contact-free way to recycle and receive refunds using your scheme ID.
Reverse vending machines (RVMs)
Insert uncrushed containers into an RVM so the machine can count your containers by scanning their barcodes.
Pop-up refund points
Organised by local operators, these appear at a set time and location so you can take your containers to them.
